The School’s teaching staff visited 18 hospitality establishments to assess the entries in the pintxo competition organised by Galdakao Town Council

Last Friday, the teaching staff of Galdakao Hospitality School took part as the technical jury in the Pintxo Lanperna mushroom pintxo competition, organised by Galdakao Town Council. The event provided an opportunity to discover and assess first-hand the gastronomic creations presented by the participating establishments.

Throughout the day, the School’s team visited 18 bars in Galdakao, tasting each pintxo and carrying out a technical assessment of the different entries. During the tour, aspects such as creativity, presentation, flavour combinations and the gastronomic quality of each creation were evaluated.

The scores awarded by the technical jury, together with the public’s votes, will be decisive in determining the final ranking of Pintxo Lanperna.

A collaboration to showcase local hospitality

The participation of Galdakao Hospitality School as the technical jury is part of its collaboration with Galdakao Town Council and its commitment to promoting local hospitality.

Initiatives of this kind help recognise the talent of professionals in the sector, encourage gastronomic creativity and bring the richness and diversity of the municipality’s hospitality offering closer to the public.

Invitation to the awards ceremony

From the School, we would like to thank Galdakao Town Council for its trust and congratulate all the participating establishments on their work, dedication and creativity.

We would also like to invite all participants to the Pintxo Lanperna awards ceremony, an event where we will celebrate the talent, creativity and effort that have made this new edition of the competition possible.

Congratulations to all the participants!
