URRATSBAT: The talent of Galdakao School of Hospitality students showcased at the ENPRESARI competition
Last month, the projects from the Intermediate and Advanced Vocational Training programmes at Galdakao School of Hospitality were presented at the ENPRESARI competition, organised by DEMA, following a period of guided work and mentoring that allowed students to develop and refine their ideas.
Among the proposals, “La Vuelta al Pintxo 360º” stands out, a project by the Culinary Management students. It is a gastrobar concept that combines creativity and entrepreneurship, while also incorporating an inclusive approach so that different people can enjoy the gastronomic experience.
In Intermediate Level, the project “Kukis, gourmet cookies” focuses on circular economy and zero waste, reusing eggshells—its main waste product—to create natural fertilisers for plants, giving everyday materials a second life.
Both projects have been supported by mentor Joseba Etxebarria (DEMA) and facilitator Susana Pérez (Urratsbat).
The jury’s decision will be announced on 9 June at the final event organised by DEMA.
This experience strengthens teamwork, effort, and enthusiasm, supporting students on their entrepreneurial journey.
